THE EVERYDAY MAN
Cole Custer has gone from racing quarter midgets at the early age of 4 to regularly contending for NASCAR Xfinity Series championships and NASCAR Cup Series wins where he drives the No. 41 Haas Automation Ford Mustang for Stewart-Haas Racing (SHR). In an 18-year-and-counting career, the 22-year-old Custer has collected wins and records befitting drivers twice his age. This was on display throughout 2019, where in his third and final Xfinity Series season, Custer amassed a career-high seven wins and six poles, with 17 top-five and 24 top-10 finishes and a total of 922 laps led. After being the runner-up in the championship standings for a second straight season, SHR promoted Custer to its flagship NASCAR Cup Series program for 2020. Shortly after moving up to the highest level in motorsports, Cole Custer was able to capture his first series victory at Kentucky Speedway while also claiming Rookie of the Year honors in his first full-time season in the NASCAR Cup Series. As Cole Custer turns his focus to 2021, he looks to maintain success by winning more races in NASCAR's top series while aligning himself with top-level brands.
